In celebration of National Nonprofit Day, Adobe teamed up with bizzNEST, Digital NEST’s youth-powered creative agency, to launch a new series of free training videos for nonprofits.

Ten talented youth interns from bizzNEST worked closely with Adobe product experts to co-create practical, real-world training videos designed to help nonprofits use Adobe Express and other tools to advance their missions and scale their impact.

The collaboration was a natural fit for both organizations: “We were so happy to learn that Adobe wants to help nonprofits like ours get the most out of its tools and scale up our impact,” said Jacob Martinez, founder and CEO of Digital NEST. “And we knew that the work would be a perfect match for our brilliant interns.”

BTS: Youth-powered Collaboration

BizzNEST interns started by researching the use cases and workflows of small and large nonprofits to better understand their needs. Then, they worked with Adobe staff to scope, script, film, produce, and publish nine videos that equip nonprofits with the skills to run their organizations more creatively and effectively. Topics covered in the series include:

  • Getting started with Adobe Express
  • Applying your organization’s brand kit
  • Creating standout social posts
  • Resizing and adapting content for multiple platforms
  • Using safe, generative AI to boost creativity
  • Collaborating with teammates, wherever they are

You can watch the full series of videos here, with more videos scheduled for release in the coming weeks.

Building Careers and Confidence

This project didn’t just create valuable resources for nonprofits; it also provided our interns with professional experience in marketing, product, and project management that will serve them in their future careers.

“This really helped me marry my skills as a creative person with being a problem solver,” said Cristian. “I had to think about the workflow and how my every action advanced that.”

Julia agreed. “It taught me a lot about how you carry yourself and prepare yourself to answer questions about products in a business setting. It also completely changed my perspective about how far I can go on my career path.”

Cristian and Julia were joined by fellow interns Emily, Edgar, Natalia, Elijah, Dominic, Xavier, Oliver and Mirna.
