Last night, June 8, 2025, at approximately 10:30 PM, the Digital NEST Stockton center experienced a significant fire. We are incredibly grateful that firefighters responded swiftly, and no one was harmed in the incident. The safety of our community is always our highest priority.

Unfortunately, the building, furniture, and equipment, including cameras, computers, televisions, and 3D printers, sustained significant damage. As a result, the Digital NEST Stockton center will be closed until further notice.

Our number one priority is minimizing disruption for our youth. We are already actively working to secure another space for staff and members to continue all programming with minimal interruption.

We are devastated by this incident, but our commitment to the Stockton community and the wellbeing of our members remains unwavering. Our Stockton center was established with deep engagement from local stakeholders, and we look forward to working with our Stockton community and the greater Digital NEST family to get back up and running as soon as possible.

As we assess the full extent of the damage and the costs associated with rebuilding and re-establishing our operations, the journey ahead may require significant resources. While our immediate focus is on ensuring program continuity, we anticipate that the generosity and financial support of our community may be essential down the road to help us fully recover and continue our critical work in Stockton.
