Documentary filmmaking seminar

The Latino American Project is a joint project between the Digital NEST, Watsonville Film Festival, and the Watsonville Public Library. The goal is to give a voice to the Hispanic community of the Pajaro Valley. The project aims to provide individuals with a platform to tell and preserve their stories for today and future generations.

In this entry-level seminar and training we will be selecting 15 participants to:

  • Learn about documentary films.
  • Gain hands-on industry production experience.
  • Produce 1-2 short documentaries for the Latino American Project.
  • Obtain community service hours (if needed)
  • And obtain an Internship certificate of completion.
